THERE was a huge attendance at the Seandun championship draws that were hosted at Brian Dillons GAA clubhouse recently.

The newly elected Seandun chairman Mick Buckley welcomed all delegates and wished them well for the forthcoming campaign.

Seandun secretary Eddie Murphy believes the division will go from strength to strength for the forthcoming campaign.

“Clubs are the integral part of any division and we are getting a good response from all concerned and hopefully we can all work together and ensure we have competitive and exciting championships,” he said.

AOS Security are back on board as the main sponsor of the championships and managing director Jess O’Sullivan spoke of her delight to be associated with Seandun.

“My late husband Alan loved his association with Brian Dillons and I am sure he is looking down on us with pride that we are associated with such prestigious championships in this city.

“I would like to wish all the competing teams the very best of luck in all grades and hopefully Ballinlough will be alive with excitement for the summer months,” she said.

The championships are due to begin in July that will see 21 clubs compete in five grades.
