ANOTHER cracking semi-final clash between St Finbarr's and Castlehaven headlines a bumper weekend of Cork football action on October 6-8.

The sides have served up terrific matches in the last four in the previous three seasons, two of which were decided on penalties, and they meet again on Sunday, October 8 at 5pm in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, in a double-header with Nemo against the winners of Douglas versus Duhallow.

There will be an SAFC semi-final double bill on Saturday afternoon that weekend in the Páirc, Newmarket against Newcestown followed by Dohenys-Knocknagree.

In what's a notable achievement for the Beara division, all three clubs in the county championships, Urhan, Adrigole and Castletownbere will contest semi-finals across three grades.

The Premier Junior semi-final between Kilmurry and Cobh is a repeat of last year's Junior A decider that the Mid Cork outfit won.
