Munster Junior Cup first round ties occupy several clubs in the AUL this weekend
Coachford FC, who will travel to take on Grangevale for their Premier clash at the Mayfield United all-weather facility on Sunday morning.
Tomorrow afternoon sees two Munster Junior Cup first round ties on the agenda and out in the Farm, UCC kick-off their season with a tough opener against Cathedral Celtic for their first-round tie.
Cathedral have started the season well with some good competitive games behind them so, this should probably give them the edge over the students who will be playing their first competitive game.
Premier A side Waterloo will host Premier side City Wanderers for their first-round clash at the Whitechurch Community Grounds.
This one has the potential to go all the way to penalties.
In the Munster Junior Shield, Grattan B will travel to Millstreet to face Los Zarcos for their first-round game.
These two have started reasonably well in League 2, with both unbeaten thus far so, this one also looks like a very close affair.
At Dungourney, Boscos will face a Blackstone Rovers side who are finding the going a bit tough at the minute and going on current form, you would have to go for Boscos to win here.
Tomorrow afternoon’s agenda also features a Saxone Cup quarter-final encounter between Churchvilla and Parkview Celtic.

Although Parkview are still waiting for their first win in the league after four games, they did put up a very good show against Boscos before going down 2-3 last time out.
Churchvilla will be favourites to advance, but they cannot show any complacency here.
On to the bread-and-butter side of the business now and in Premier A, Castleview will welcome the visit of Donoughmore Athletic.
The View had a big victory over their neighbours Grattan A last time out so, this will certainly boost their confidence ahead of the game.
Castleview fancied here for a home win.
Greenwood A will travel to Ballyanley for their Premier A clash with Strand A and could bag their first three points here.
On to League 1 now and for leaders Shandon Celtic, it will be a trip on the road to take on a Kilmichael side, still searching for their first win.
Shandon to maintain their position at the helm with another win here.
Finally for Saturday, Hibs and Richmond will come together at Shanbally in what will be a close battle for the points.
On to Sunday now and here we have a similar line-up of fixtures, similar to that of Saturday as we look forward to more cup and league clashes.
In the first round of the Munster Junior Cup, Springfield welcomes the visit of Corkbeg for their first-round tie and after a good performance by Springfield when they defeated defending champions Coachford last time out, they will be confident ahead of this one.
Corkbeg on the other hand will be anxious to lift their form by going all out for a victory here.
In Munster Junior Sheld first round action, Blackpool Celtic will play host to Imogeela and you would be fancying the hosts here for a win.
The second Saxone Cup quarter final of the weekend takes place at Rylane when Rylane Celtic face Bweeng Celtic at the Rylane Community Park.
Bweeng are the current leaders in League 2, but they must pick themselves up after their first league defeat last Sunday morning against Grattan B at O’Neill Park while Rylane were held to a 2-2 draw against Imogeela, but despite Bweeng’s loss, they will be fancied to edge this one.
The big Premier clash of the day will play out at the Mayfield United all-weather pitch with Grangevale playing host to Coachford.
Both these two sides were beaten in their last outings so, it will need a big effort from the two teams to get back to winning ways again on Sunday morning.
In League 3, Greenwood B and Castlebridge comes together at Lehanaghmore with both sides seeking their first league win.
Harp Celtic will face a tough assignment at home to Rathcormac in a game where we could see a share of the points.
Finally, a draw could also be on the cards when Strand B face Kilbrittain in Ballyanley.
