Rowing World Cup champions will fly into Cork
Shane O'Driscoll and Mark O'Donovan win gold for Ireland in World Cup III at Lucerne, Switzerland.

Our gold and bronze medal winners will arrive to Cork Airport tomorrow at 1pm - and deserve a great reception.

We can celebrate our Rowing World Cup champions, from Skibbereen, as they arrive triumphantly to Cork Airport at 1pm tomorrow (Monday, July 10).

Cork gold medal winners Shane O'Driscoll and Mark O'Donovan will be greeted by fans at the airport, as will bronze medal winners Gary and Paul O'Donovan, and the rest of the Rowing Ireland team and coaches, when they arrive in from Zurich just after 1pm.

They've given us a summer to remember and we should celebrate their wonderful achievements.

Shane and Mark are the reigning European champion, and it is their fourth gold medal win of the season.

Olympic silver medal winners Gary and Paul won bronze this time, to add to their silvers earlier in the season.

Get up there Cork and cheer them home.
