The homes, delivered by the approved housing body Clúid, consist of a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes.
Rent for each of the 10 one-bed apartments is €1,200 per month, while rent for the 16 two-bed apartments and duplexes is €1,500 per month.
Rent for the remaining nine three-bed apartments is €1,714 per month.
This represents a saving of at least 25% on the market rent for a similar home in the area.
In addition, cost rental residents will also benefit from secure, life-long tenancies.
Clúid chief executive officer Averil Power said they are expecting “high demand for these homes”.
“We’re urging interested applicants to familiarise themselves with the eligibility requirements and to complete their applications as soon as possible,” Ms Power said.
“Applicants will need to submit all their documentation online before 5pm on October 21 to be included in the lottery.”
The homes are set within the Ard na Sailí development, a modern mixed-tenure housing scheme, in Carrigtwohill.
They were delivered in a partnership between Clúid and Cork County Council, with support from the Department of Housing, Heritage and Local Government, The Housing Agency, and the Housing Finance Agency.
