Visit Cork has secured the top award at the annual Cork Digital Marketing Awards, being named digital marketing legend 2026.

The evening also saw the destination brand win best website and best use of instagram.

The awards, delivered by Cork Chamber in partnership with the Marketing Institute, were held at Rochestown Park Hotel and hosted by broadcaster Sinéad Kennedy.

They recognised businesses, teams and individuals making an impact through digital marketing across Cork.

As digital marketing legend 2026, Visit Cork will also receive a content studio package courtesy of media partner the Irish Examiner, providing an opportunity to further amplify its story across the newspaper’s digital platforms.

Congratulating Visit Cork and this year’s winners, Cork Chamber president Susie Horgan said the standard of work recognised had shown how effectively Cork businesses and organisations are using digital to connect with audiences, build their brands and deliver real impact.

“Visit Cork is a fantastic example of that, using strong digital storytelling to showcase our region to audiences at home and internationally.”

Reacting to the award, Seamus Heaney, head of Visit Cork, said, “We are beyond thrilled. This is a hugely proud moment for the team and board of directors at Visit Cork.”

Annie FitzGibbon, director of Member Services at Cork Chamber, said the awards shine a light on the people behind the campaigns, content and digital experiences.

“This year’s winners span businesses and organisations of all sizes, but what they share is a clear understanding of their audiences and how to reach them effectively.”
