Ralph McTell to bring final national tour of Ireland to Cork's Everyman stage 

British singer-songwriter Ralph McTell will bring his final national tour of Ireland, Somewhere Down the Road, to The Everyman in Cork on November 1.

The tour will consist of 16 shows over three weeks, opening in Navan on October 17 and concluding in Galway on November 8.

As a stalwart of the folk scene for more than five decades, McTell’s music continues to resonate with fans of all generations.

He made his debut in 1968 with the album Eight Frames a Second.

McTell is best known for his song Streets of London, which earned him an Ivor Novello Award and has been covered by 200 artists around the world. It was first recorded for his second album, Spiral Staircase. 

His 1976 song From Clare to Here is about Irish labourers in London. 

McTell first played in Ireland in Belfast in 1969 and has since performed at all the main venues across the the country.
