The Traitors Ireland star Laura wins national title at women's networking awards

The Traitors Ireland star Laura Howard may have left the castle early in this year’s series, but she emerged a winner at a women’s business awards event at the weekend.

The Trinny London employee was named one of two Cork winners of the Network Ireland Businesswoman of the Year Awards, which took place in Galway last Friday night.

Laura, from Fermoy, who made a big impact in a short time on one of the biggest reality shows of the year, was named Advanced – Career Employee of the Year Winner at the event, for her work at Trinny London, the UK-based beauty brand founded by Trinny Woodall.

Fellow Corkwoman Ciara Crossan, founder of WeddingDates, was named Networker of the Year for her work over 18 years with the wedding tech firm.

Laura was the second person to be murdered on this year’s Traitors series, after she pushed for the banishment of Donegal woman Edelle McDaid, thereby sealing her own fate. The series, with its strong contingent of Cork players, finishes this week.
