Comic book artist Will Sliney back home for Cork's Comic Con next month

Award-winning Ballycotton comic book artist Will Sliney will be back on home soil next month when he joins a stellar line-up for Cork Comic Con 2026.

The Cork man has built an impressive international career, with his iconic work on world famous comic titles including Spider-Man and Star Wars.

Sliney has also made a name for himself among a new generation of younger fans, through his work in television, animation, and art education.

Other names joining the line-up for the event at the Marina Market over the first weekend of October include Irish actor Jason O’Mara, who has voiced Batman in a number of DC animated films and Declan Murphy in Irish Blood; Tom McKay, Luke Dale, Marta Svetek, and Nola Klop.

There will be celebrity and creator appearances, autograph and photograph opportunities, Q&A panel sessions, cosplay, gaming, and workshops.

The conference takes place at Marina Market on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October.
