The countdown is on for the 35th annual Carrigaline & District Lions Club Cycle Classic, which will take place on Saturday, September 26.
“What began all the way back in 1991 with one simple goal, to raise funds for local and national charities, has grown into a truly cherished event that has brought together generations of cyclists, families, friends, clubs and supporters,” said a spokesperson.
They said that for 35 years the event has been “about more than cycling”.
This year’s milestone Cycle Classic is being held in aid of Marymount University Hospice, a charity that holds a very special place in the hearts of so many people across Cork and beyond,” they said.
“Whether you’re taking on the 50km or pushing yourself to the 100km, we’d love to have you join us for our 35th Cycle Classic!”
