Airport plaza to transform into vibrant outdoor food market as part of Cork on a Fork Fest 

Cork Airport is to host a Flights & Bites food market on Friday, August 14, as part of Cork on a Fork Fest.

Taking place from 12 noon until 6pm, the event will see the airport plaza transform into a vibrant outdoor food market.

It will feature local food vendors, coffee and sweet treats, and live music from local singer songwriter, Cathal Fitz.

The event at Cork Airport is free to attend, with food and drink available on a pay-on-consumption basis.

Niall MacCarthy, managing director of Cork Airport, said they are delighted to be a partner of Cork on a Fork Fest, including with the upcoming event on Friday.

“We commend Cork City Council for this food festival, which has now formed an important part of the visitor calendar for our region.

“We encourage passengers travelling next Friday to enjoy some artisan food outside the terminal before their flight.”
