Following decades of friendship, Irish 80’s rock icons Leslie Dowdall and Flo McSweeney are finally sharing the stage for the very first time with their brand new show, Natural Women, which comes to the Everyman on Thursday October 8.
Backed by an all-star band and stunning visual projections, the collaboration will see the pair covering songs by the 1970s songwriting icons Carole King and Linda Ronstadt.
On the night, audiences can expect to hear classics such as Up on the Roof, You’re No Good, I Feel the Earth Move, and It’s Too Late.
Looking ahead to the upcoming show in the Everyman, Flo said that the performance is all about women celebrating women.
“It is really about Leslie and me finally performing together after more than 30 years of friendship. It is about still being here, still doing what we love and feeling ageless every time we step on stage.”
Tickets for Natural Women are now available from everymancork.com.
