Man, 30s, charged in connection with death of a Cork woman in Waterford
Ms Daly, originally from Grenagh in Cork, was found dead at her home on Monday.
A man in his 30s has been charged in connection with the death of Cork woman, Noreen Daly, in Waterford earlier this week.
As gardaí in Waterford continue to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding Ms Daly's death, the man in his 30s, who was arrested yesterday in connection with the investigation, has since been charged.
He is expected to appear before Carrick-on-Suir District Court this morning at approximately 10.30am.
Shortly after 2pm on Monday, gardaí found Ms Daly's body at her home in the rural area of Ardsallagh near Youghal Bridge.
Ms Daly was originally from Grenagh near Mallow.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, which was preserved for a period of time for a forensic examination.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána told that investigations are ongoing.
