Patrick Street bus stops on the move to facilitate 'decluttering' of Cork's premier street
Cork City Council's decluttering and planting project is beginning on the city’s main street.
From next Monday, two bus stops outside Brown Thomas on St Patrick’s St will be temporarily suspended.
The move is to facilitate Cork City Council’s St Patrick’s Street piot scheme, the decluttering and planting project on the city’s main street.
A spokesperson for Cork City Council said that the affected bus services will instead be at existing bus stops “just a short walk away”.
Bus passengers are advised that from the early hours of Monday June 15, routes 207, 208, 209/A will use Stop 240491 outside the former Debenhams store.
Routes 203, 205, 213, 214, 215 will use Stop 241721, just a few yards further north, closer to Merchant’s Quay shopping centre.
Signs will also be displayed on the affected bus stops advising passengers of the changes.
More information is available on the Bus Éireann website.
