A book of evidence is to be served on a 43-year-old man who denies assaulting a woman at a pub in Cork.
The case has been adjourned until June 24 for that purpose.
John Daly of 22 Manor Rd, Manor Farm, Lehenaghbeg, Cork, faces a charge alleging that on December 3, 2022, at Clancy’s Bar, Princes St, Cork, he assaulted a woman causing her harm, contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act.
On the application of Sergeant Gearóid Davis, Judge Catherine Ryan adjourned the case against Mr Daly, who was represented by solicitor Killian McCarthy.
