Retro jersey event coming to Cork's Marina Market

KitCon 2026 takes place at the Marina Market on June Bank Holiday, Saturday May 30 & Sunday May 31.

KitCon, the Irish retro jersey event showcase, is coming to Cork for the first time at Marina Market over the weekend of May 30 and 31.

It will showcase a variety of famous and historic sporting kits under one roof from a range of sports including soccer, GAA and rugby.

Attending the event will be Onside Jerseys, the Irish website for authentic retro jerseys and home to more than 200 classic Cork GAA, Munster Rugby, and Cork City FC jerseys.

Nigel Taylor, owner of Onside Jerseys, said he is looking forward to coming to the KitCon event.

“KitCon is the biggest event of its kind in Ireland and we, like all the exhibitors and sellers, are very excited to be heading to Cork,” he said.

“Sports fans can expect to see collector’s items, jerseys that will bring back memories of jerseys they had in the past and of winning teams.

“Personally, I’ve wanted to do a pop-up shop in Cork for some time.

“So this is the perfect opportunity to bring our range to the city.”
