Cork City Football Club has unveiled their new third kit for the 2026 season in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

The new jersey, which features a rainbow design across the club badge and main front shirt sponsor, aims to highlight the commitment of the club to inclusion for all in sport and dedication to diversity, while also providing tangible support to Cork’s LGBTQ+ youth.

Cork City FC also have partnered with Belong To, the national organisation supporting LGBTQ+ youth aged 14 – 23.

Amongst its extensive work, Belong To coordinates a national network of youth groups, provides training for teachers and youth workers, and offers vital crisis counseling and family support services.

YOUTH SERVICES

A minimum of €5,000 from the sale of the jerseys will go directly toward supporting Belong To’s national youth services, crisis counselling and educational initiatives.

Erika Ní Thuama, community co-ordinator at Cork City FC, said the club are delighted to release their 2026 third jersey in support of the LGBTQ+ community and in collaboration with Belong To.

“Cork has an especially diverse and vibrant community, and we tend to support our own.

“As one of the first clubs in the League of Ireland to work with LGBTQ+ community in 2019, we felt it was important to reaffirm our commitment to inclusion for all within sport, as a player or a fan.”

The new 2026 Cork City FC third jersey is available now at the club shop in Douglas Village Shopping Centre and online at corkcityfc.ie.
