The Cork Business Association (CBA) has said its next ‘Cleaning and Greening’ day will take place on Tuesday, April 28.

Cleaning and Greening day is a collaborative effort between the CBA and Cork City Council, with the aim of creating a cleaner, safer, and more attractive city

This event will target Oliver Plunkett St, from Caroline St to the Grand Parade, with a focus on refreshing and revitalising the area.

The initiative, supported by McKechnie Cleaning Services, Dosco, and Snap Printing will involve a variety of tasks such as cleaning and painting.

Cork Business Association president Dave O’Brien said: “As we kick off our 2026 series on Oliver Plunkett St, we aren’t just cleaning surfaces, we are revitalising the heart of our city.

“Our previous successes proved that collective action yields visible results, and we are eager to bring that same energy this year.”

Businesses and individuals are encouraged to volunteer; register at corkbusiness.ie/events/ or by emailing info@corkbusiness.ie.
