The Coolmine East Cork hub will host the IGNITE art showcase tomorrow night at Midleton’s My Place community hub.
Funded by Cork County Council and aligned with the Creative Ireland programme, the project uses creative expression as a tool for personal healing and community connection.
Mayor of County Cork, councillor Mary Linehan Foley, will be among those in attendance at the exhibition which will celebrate the achievements of the participants.
Asha Duda, team leader at Coolmine, said the exhibition is a testament to the resilience and creativity of the women they work with.
“Coolmine believes everyone should have the opportunity to overcome addiction and lead a fulfilled, productive life.
"Through art, they have found a space to express themselves, build confidence and connect with others. We are thrilled to showcase their incredible work and celebrate the positive impact of creativity in recovery.”
The IGNITE exhibition takes place tomorrow, Friday, January 23, at 7pm.
