Gardaí from the Cork County Crime Division, assisted by members of the Cork North West Community Engagement Area, conducted the search as part of ongoing investigations into multiple incidents of theft in the region.

As a result of the searches, a large quantity of stolen items exceeding the value of €9,300 was recovered. Two vehicles were also seized.

Among the stolen items seized were DeWalt, Bosch and Parkside power tools, dozens of bottles of spirits, several luxury fashion shoes, and several XXL multi-packs of Ariel washing pods.

Two men, both aged in their 20s, were arrested and brought to a garda station in Co Cork, where they are currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
