Rugs.ie, the family-run interiors store based in Douglas, is having a Christmas toy drive in support of the charity Good Shepherd Cork.

Running until December 20, customers and members of the public are invited to drop new toys to their showroom in Douglas or warehouse in Wilton.

All donations will be delivered directly to Good Shepherd Cork, which provides vital support services to women, children, and families experiencing homelessness or vulnerability.

Phoebe Holland, managing director of Rugs.ie, said that having worked with Good Shepherd Cork for a number of years, supporting their annual toy drive felt like the perfect fit. She added: “Every toy donated, big or small, will genuinely brighten a child’s Christmas. It is important to us that we give back in a meaningful way. We are really hoping the local community will get behind the toy drive.”

A Good Shepherd Cork spokesperson said: “Community initiatives like this make it possible for us to reach more families with practical support and a little extra magic at Christmas.”
