Seven-time Grammy Award winning artist Alanis Morissette has become the latest acts to join an impressive line-up of acts set to play cork next summer. 

The Canadian-American singer-songwriter will play Virgin Media Park on Wednesday, June 24, with support from Bristish rock band Skunk Anansie.

An artist with two Golden Globe nominations, a BRIT Award and sales of over 75 million albums worldwide, the Canadian singer/songwriter first came to prominence following the release of her album 'Jagged Little Pill' in 1995, which climbed to number one in the Irish, US and UK charts and sold 33 million copies globally.

Tickets for Alanis Morissette are priced at €89.90 - €99.90 and will go on general sale at 9am on Friday through Ticketmaster.ie.

Other acts set to play Virgin Media Park next year include Kingfishr, Kodaline, CMAT, The Lumineers, Amble, along with Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts.

A raft of acts has also been announced to play Live at the Marquee next summer including David Gray, Bell X1, Two Door Cinema Club, Five, Paul Weller, Christy Moore, AJ Tracey, James Arthur, Dec Pierce Block Rockin' Beats, Kesha and Tom Grennan.
