Reformer pilates equipment and training company, Maxsona, will launch its new business at its Cork-based studio this weekend.

Maxsona was created by chartered physiotherapist Lowry O’Mahony, who also founded MaxPhysio, and is described by the company as offering next-generation reformer techniques, equipment and training that is designed to “bridge the gap between rehabilitation and studio fitness”.

According to the company, Maxsona is built for studios that are expanding from one reformer to a full schedule, for instructors beginning their careers or seeking growth, for clinics blending rehabilitation with performance training, and for wellness businesses investing in pilates as a long-term offering.

Attendees at the opening event will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided class on the new Maxsona machines, listen to a short talk on the science behind recovery, and have the opportunity to meet local studio owners and wellness professionals.

The event will take place at the MaxPhysio Pilates Studio at The Grove, Heron’s Wood in Carrigaline from 10am to 12pm on Sunday.
