Cork County Council has announced the return of its My Creative Wish campaign for 2026.

The initiative, in collaboration with the Creative Ireland Programme, invites children and young people to submit their most imaginative creative wishes, with the opportunity to see those wishes brought to life. This year, 35 creative wishes were granted, through a range of workshops in schools and local libraries.

A total of 16 winning wishes will be selected by Cork County Council’s Culture and Creativity team, with each winner receiving six fully funded workshops. The winning ideas will then be showcased as part of Cruinniú na nÓg on June 6.

An additional 16 runners-up will also be awarded a free Creative Ireland–funded workshop in their local library.

The deadline for applications is December 19, with interested schools and youth groups asked to email creativeireland@corkcoco.ie by December 5 for an application pack.
