The last time Taylor played Live at the Marquee Cork was 2009.

Four more acts have been announced today as part of the Live at the Marquee 2026 summer lineup.

James Taylor announced that he will return to the Marquee on 10 July with his All-Star Band. The last time Taylor played Live at the Marquee Cork was 2009.

Over the course of his celebrated songwriting and performing career that has spanned over 50 years, Taylor has sold more than 100 million albums, earning gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards since the release of his self-titled debut album in 1968. 

In 2015, the now 77-year-old, released Before This World, the first-ever #1 album of his illustrious career. Taylor has won multiple GRAMMY Awards, has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll and the prestigious Songwriters Halls of Fame.

In early 2020 Taylor released Break Shot, a deeply personal and authentic audio-only memoir detailing his first 21 years. He also released his newest album, American Standard, his 19th studio album, which earned Taylor the 2021 GRAMMY Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and gave him the honor of being the first artist to have a Billboard Top 10 album in each of the past six decades.

BELL X1

Bell X1 last took to the Marquee stage in 2023. This summer they will make a very welcome return on 19 June, which will be their fourth time to perform in the Marquee.

Over the past 2 decades they have become somewhat of a national treasure and are recognised as one of Ireland’s most popular live performers.

Bell X1 have begun work on a new studio album with plans to release it in 2026, just in time for their Marquee date.

Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats

As announced earlier today, Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats will return to Live at the Marquee Cork this summer on Saturday 4 July.

Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats is a performance of the world’s biggest dance anthems, featuring a full live band and special guests. A raw, energetic live set includes tracks from Underworld, Faithless, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, and many more! Block Rockin’ Beats is where rave meets rock music—a show where both styles unite for one unmissable performance. Block Rockin’ Beats is a live stage performance version of Dec Pierce’s radio show of the same name on Today FM.

The Marquee Masters

Cork is set for a historic night of sporting entertainment as The Marquee Masters brings world-class darts to Live at the Marquee transforming the lee-side venue into the Ally Pally for the very first time on 11 July. This landmark event will showcase some of the biggest names in global darts, all appearing together under one iconic roof.

Leading the lineup is the current World Champion Luke Humphries, joined by two-time World Champion Adrian Lewis, history-making superstar Fallon Sherrock, and fan favourite Simon Whitlock. Adding extra prestige to the night, the legendary Phil Taylor - winner of 16 World Championships - will not be playing but will attend as the VIP Host, offering fans an exclusive opportunity to meet the greatest player the sport has ever seen.
