Members of the public are invited to celebrate the magic of Christmas at Cork’s Nano Nagle Place.

This December, the location on Douglas St will again be transformed into a festive haven of light, creativity, and community, with a range of family-friendly activities planned across the Christmas period.

Highlights included in the schedule of events include six performances of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at Goldie Chapel; two weekends of Christmas markets, featuring stalls filled with handmade crafts, seasonal treats, and unique gifts; a children’s Christmas decoration workshop, for children aged six and older; and the Cork city book fair, featuring booksellers from across Munster offering everything from rare editions to new works on history, politics, culture, and nature.

John Smith, CEO of Nano Nagle Place, said Christmas at the venue is about “connection, to each other, to creativity, and to the deeper meaning of the season”.
