Get ready for Broadway flair, tuxedos and glamour for Cork jazz festival show

NO FEE PIC Helen O’Dwyer’s Frankly, My Dear returns to the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival with a fresh, fast-paced new show that’s bigger, full of bling and bursting with crowd favourites. Catch the dazzling new show on Sunday, October 26th at 3.30pm at the Metropole Hotel Cork, where Helen O’Dwyer and her glamorous dancers serve up vintage sparkle with a modern twist.

Helen O’Dwyer’s Frankly, My Dear returns to the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival this weekend with a performance at the Metropole Hotel Cork.

Audiences can expect performances from Mack the Knife, All That Jazz, Puttin’ on the Ritz, Sway, Quando Quando and a reimagining of chart-toppers such as Flowers, Creep, and All About That Bass.

The show is in three parts: part one featuring Broadway flair, tuxedos, and high-kick glamour; part two merges vintage and modern with red and black flapper energy and a jazzy twist on pop hits, while part three is “pure showgirl fantasy — long tassels, feather headdresses, and a joyful finale”.

Ms O’Dwyer’s show comes to Cork after performances at The Royal Theatre in Waterford, The Limetree in Limerick, and Lark Theatre in Dublin and as her Christmas EP supports Irish families through Cliona’s Foundation.
