Gardaí are seeking the assistance of the public in tracing the whereabouts of 72-year-old Gerard Kelleher, who was reported missing from his home in Castlemartyr earlier today.

Gardaí are seeking the assistance of the public in tracing the whereabouts of 72-year-old Gerard Kelleher, who was reported missing from his home in Castlemartyr earlier today.

Mr Kelleher was last seen at approximately 12.20pm in the Midleton area on Tuesday September 23.

A Garda spokesperson said that the gardaí and Gerard’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.  

Gerard is described as being approximately 5 foot 9 inches in height, of medium build, with white hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, Gerard was wearing a blue checkered shirt, a navy hoodie, navy tracksuit bottoms and navy runners.

Gardaí say Gerard may have access to an 06C1-registered bronze or orange Nissan Note car.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr Kelleher is asked to contact Midleton Garda Station on (021) 462 1550, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
