The incident, involving a number of vehicles, occurred on the N28 at Carr’s Hill after 5pm.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a multi-vehicle collision in Cork.

The incident, involving a number of vehicles, occurred on the N28 at Carr’s Hill after 5pm.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána told The Echo that while the road remains open, traffic flow was reduced to a single lane in each direction.

No serious injuries have been reported in relation to this incident at this time.

Additionally, Gardaí in Cork were also alerted to another collision, between a car and a truck, in the Jack Lynch Tunnel, at approximately 3.15pm.

There were no injuries reported in relation to this incident, however a disruption to traffic was observed.
