Cork artists shortlisted for AIB Portrait Prizes

Four Cork artists have been shortlisted for the AIB Portrait Prize and AIB Young Portrait Prize competitions at the National Gallery of Ireland.
The Portrait Prize shortlist includes paintings, video and photography, while the Young Portrait Prize showcase works of artists aged 18 and under.
Siobhán Clancy, Cork city, for her photograph Invasive; David Creedon, Carrigaline, for his photograph Becky with her Bee Hives; and Misaki Parbrook, also from Carrigaline, for Crossing, a work in oil on canvas, are among the nominations for the AIB Portrait Prize.
Samuel Deasy (14) from Ballincollig has been shortlisted in the AIB Young Portrait Prize for his photograph Mark.
An exhibition of the nominated works across both competitions will be on display in the Portrait Gallery at the National Gallery of Ireland from November 8 to March 15, 2026. The winners of both prizes will be announced at a ceremony in the National Gallery of Ireland on November 25.
