The Traitors Ireland, hosted by Cork woman and Derry Girls star, Siobhán McSweeney, will officially premiere on RTÉ this month.

The adaptation of the show, first launched in the Netherlands in 2021, will see a group of strangers arrive at Slane Castle to battle in a game of deception for a prize fund of €50,000.

Each participant will embark on a journey of lies and loyalty as the Traitors will walk amongst the group of players with the aim of sabotaging alliances leading to players being murdered or banished.

As announced last week, comedian Kevin McGahern will delve into the behind the scenes in The Traitors Ireland Uncloaked, where he will be joined by celebrity guests and former players for analysis and reaction.

Uncloaked will take fans of The Traitors Ireland deeper into Slane Castle with dissection of the episodes and exclusive access to the banished and murdered players. The behind the scenes will also offer bonus unseen footage, on the identity of the Traitors for the first time.

‘The Traitors Ireland’ will premiere on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on August 31.
