The Coffee Addict takeaway café is reopening in Macroom for the summer.

Located on New Street, Coffee Addict is one of the enterprises run by local resident Brendan Hedley, who has also operated his Burrito Addict business since 2017.

After a successful stint last year during the summer months, this year Coffee Addict is open seven days a week, from 10am-6pm, until September.

Speaking to The Echo, Mr Hedley said he is excited to be open for business again over the coming months.

“It is great to be open again finally after a long winter. We have had a nice few people asking us about it.

"We do the markets as well with Burrito Addict and people were asking when is the cafe opening again?

“We put up a social media post about the re-opening and there has been a lot of feedback there for people excited about it.”
