A former nursing home in Cork has gone up for sale for more than €2 million.
The commercial property, which was formerly Aperee Living Churchtown, is located along Egmont Place in Churchtown village, opposite the Churchtown GAA grounds.
The single-storey purpose built nursing home, which was constructed in 1996, was listed last week for a price of €2.1 million.
The sale of the property, which sits on a site of approximately 2.2 hectares, is being overseen by Cohalan Downing.
The shaped property, which was subsequently extended some time after construction, has five main bedroom wings, including 44 single bedrooms and three twin rooms, all equipped with ensuite facilities.
Also included in the property is a main reception area, a day room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and staff canteen, as well as three further day rooms within the bedroom wings.
The property is for sale by tender in one or more lots, with a tender deadline set for 12pm on May 22.
