Cork Airport visitor numbers set to increase 14% this bank holiday weekend

Managing director at Cork Airport, Niall MacCarthy said that the increase in visitor numbers comes as no surprise.
Up to 57,000 passengers are expected to travel through Cork Airport this Easter bank holiday weekend, representing a 14% increase on last year.
The facility has also said that overall passenger numbers across the extended Easter break are up by almost 20%, when compared with the same period in 2024.
Managing director at Cork Airport, Niall MacCarthy said that the increase in visitor numbers comes as no surprise as the facility offers travellers a “no drama” experience.
“Our summer season has really started well and with growth of 14% on our Easter traffic, the news that Cork Airport is easier and friendlier is reaching far and wide,” said Mr MacCarthy.
“Families want no drama at airports, and we pride ourselves on offering that experience at Cork Airport.”
