Four Cork venues and two Cork-based festivals have been shortlisted for the IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2025.

The awards, taking place at the Sugar Club in Dublin on March 25, recognise Irish venues that deliver the very best in live music entertainment.

Among those shortlisted in Cork were Cork Opera House, Coughlan’s, and Levi’s Corner House in the Munster category; the Clonakilty International Guitar Festival in the IMRO Small Music Festival of the Year Award category, and the IMRO Festival Tech Crew of the Year Award category; Live at St Luke’s in the IMRO Venue Tech Crew of the Year Award category; and Live at the Marquee in the IMRO Festival Tech Crew of the Year Award category.

Venues are judged on their ambience, staging, sound/lighting facilities, diversity of music programming, disability accessibility, venue staff, management, promotion of the venue, and its programme of music events.

IMRO are now calling on the public to cast their vote before 5pm on March 23.
