Network Ireland Cork in collaboration with the Local Enterprise Office South Cork is to host an event featuring Aoife McNamara, founder and designer behind the sustainable fashion brand, Aoife Ireland.

The ‘Everyone Makes an Impact’ event will take place on Wednesday, March 5, from 6:30pm to 9pm, at the Fota Education, Conservation and Research Centre at Fota Wildlife Park, Carrigtwohill.

This keynote event, featuring as part of Local Enterprise Week 2025, will explore the power of individual action in shaping a sustainable future.

Ms McNamara will share her entrepreneurial journey and attendees will receive practical steps to transform their vision into impactful action and information on local enterprise opportunities for sustainable initiatives.

A panel discussion will take place, where attendees can engage with business and lifestyle experts as they share their sustainability stories and insights. 

Other featured speakers include Denise Cahill, the coordinator of Cork Healthy Cities and lecturer of public health at University College Cork; Neil Lucey, owner of Gougane Barra Hotel, and MC Karen Ronan, the general manager of the Shannon Region Conference & Sports Bureau and vice president of Network Ireland and Cork branch liaison lead for 2025.

The event is free to attend but requires prior online registration at www.networkireland.ie/events.
