An award-winning Cork restaurant has announced plans to relocate to larger premises next month.

The Michelin Guide-listed eatery, Cush, which has been in operation in Ballycotton since 2020, is relocating to a bigger premises in Midleton, at the site of the former Sage restaurant.

The move marks an expansion of the Flynn Cush Group’s offering, with Cush Ballycotton remaining in the village as a guesthouse and bar.

Head chef at Cush Midleton, Dan Guerin said: “We’ve been on an incredible journey with Cush for the last five years, with so many milestones, including receiving the esteemed Michelin Bib Gourmand and being recognised by industry peers on several occasions.

“What’s always mattered most to us is delivering a top quality dining experience to our loyal customers in East Cork and beyond, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to bring Cush to Midleton, where we can expand on our offering in a beautiful premises.” 

The new restaurant location is due to open to the public on March 15.
