Weather: Rain warning issued for New Year's Eve in Cork

New Year's Eve celebrations in Cork are set to be a washout with Met Éireann issuing a yellow rain warning for the county.

The yellow rain warning issued for Cork and Kerry is to come into effect from 6am Tuesday, December 31 and will continue into 2025, expecting to end at 6am Wednesday morning, January 1.

Persistent rain is to be expected, as well as possible localised flooding, according to the warning issued by Met Éireann as of 10:50 am this morning.

Hazardous travelling conditions are also anticipated, and travelers are urged to take care on the roads during this time.
