Members of Telus Digital Ireland in Cork are working with ALONE this Christmas to help spread a little joy to those who need it most.

Telus staff members will be taking part in the ALONE holiday parcel appeal to support older people in the community.

This is their second year doing so.

Team members will band together to fill individual boxes with their chosen selection of hats, scarves, gloves, sweet treats, and more.

ALONE is a national charity that works with all older people, providing practical supports, befriending, a variety of phone services, social prescribing, housing with support, and assistive technologies.

“There was great uptake of this appeal last year from the team and even more this year,” Nora Clancy, senior director global compliance and audit at Telus Digital Ireland, said.

“We are delighted to donate almost 40 of these boxes that our team members put together with love and care and to know they will end up in the hands of someone receiving support from ALONE.”
