Search for woman missing from Mallow stood down following discovery of body

Gardaí have confirmed that the search for a woman missing from Mallow has been stood down following the discovery of a body.
45-year-old Christina McEvoy, had been missing from Mallow, County Cork since Friday, November 8.
"Following the discovery of a woman’s body, the missing person appeal for 45-year-old Christina McEvoy, who was missing from Mallow, County Cork since Friday, 8th November 2024, has been stood down," a statement from An Garda Síochána said.
"Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance."
