Fans invited to celebrate Cork City FC 40th anniversary bash

Cork City FC are inviting fans from around Cork and further afield to join them as they celebrate the club’s 40th anniversary.

The club is hosting an event at the Clayton Hotel on Lapp’s Quay on Saturday, November 16, which includes live music from The Frank and Walters.

The 2024 Men’s and Women’s Player of the Year Awards will be given out on the night and there will be on-stage interviews from the Rebel Army’s players and management.

Special moments

Sponsorship, merchandise and events manager with Cork City FC, Matthew Coughlan said: “This has been a really important year for the club as we look back at its 40 year history which has delivered so many special moments.

“As the year draws to a close we want to celebrate these memories with our fans and look forward to an exciting year ahead, especially as the senior men’s team moves up, once again, to the premier division.”

The event will kick-off with a drinks reception at 6.45pm with dinner served at 8pm.

Tickets are priced at €99 per person and are available at CorkCityFC.ie/40th.
