Gardaí probing disappearance of Kyran Durnin to conduct search of house in Dundalk
Kyran Durnin was reported missing from his Drogheda home on August 30.
Gardaí in County Louth investigating the disappearance of Kyran Durnin are to conduct a search of a house in Dundalk today.
Last week a murder investigation was launched by gardaí investigating the disappearance of an eight-year-old boy who has been missing since August.
Kyran Durnin was reported missing from his home in Drogheda, Co Louth on August 30, 2024.
Following enquiries, investigating gardaí believe that Kyran is missing presumed dead.
A garda spokesperson said that yesterday, acting under a District Court Order, gardaí investigating the disappearance of Kyran Durnin took possession of a private house in Dundalk.
“Commencing today, that house will be searched and be subject of technical and forensic examinations, as will the garden and adjoining ground to that house,” said the spokesperson.
“The purpose of these searches are to discover any evidence which might provide us with information as to Kyran's current whereabouts or what has happened to Kyran.”
