A private third-level college has been declared the ‘Digital Marketing Legend 2024’ at the Cork Digital Marketing Awards.

The awards ceremony, which is organised by Cork Chamber, the city’s voice of business for over 200 years, was held at the Oriel House Hotel in Ballincollig on Friday night. Hosted by RTÉ presenter Sinéad Kennedy, the ceremony was attended by 270 people from across Cork’s business community, and awarded the efforts of individuals and teams who harness digital media to advance their marketing success.

Saluting the talents and skills of all of the entrants to the ceremony, Rob Horgan, president of Cork Chamber, congratulated Griffith College on its win.

“Innovation is at the heart of the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape and the team at Griffith College Cork has been exemplary in delivering tangible results and growth,” he said.

“They are deserving recipients of the Digital Marketing Legend 2024 award. On their 50th anniversary year, the team at Griffith College Cork have shone brightly and thanks to our media partner, Irish Examiner, they will receive a content studio package to further advance their digital marketing campaigns.”

Sinéad O’Dea, deputy head of campus at Griffith College Cork, said the award was testimony to the work undertaken by the college’s team.

“Digital platforms are a key way in which the college promotes its undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses to potential learners nationwide. We have invested considerable resources to ensure our digital marketing activity is both engaging and impactful, and we benefit greatly from working with our colleagues nationally and with a range of fantastic agency partners.”
