Engineering works to cause delays between Cork Kent and Mallow

Iarnród Éireann passengers are being advised that buses will operate between Cork Kent and Mallow train station due to engineering works on Saturday, October 19.
Engineering works are due to take place between Mallow and Cork and between Limerick Junction and Charleville and service alterations and amendments will be in place throughout the day.
Cork services will operate every two hours in each direction with altered timings.
Buses will be in operation from Cork Kent to Mallow train station and will run at 5.20am, 8.15am, 10.25am, 12.25pm, 2.25pm, 4.25pm, 6.25pm and 8.25pm.
Services from Dublin Heuston to Cork will leave Dublin at 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5.05pm, 7pm, and 9pm.
Buses will also be in place at Mallow train station to bring passengers travelling from Dublin Heuston to Cork and will operate at 6.50am, 7.29am, 8.25am, 8.30am, 8.50am, 9.40am, 11.45am, 1.45pm, 3.40pm, 5.27pm, 5.31pm, 7.10pm, 7.25pm, 7.50pm, 9.15pm, 9.50pm, 10.30pm, and 11.42pm.
Limerick direct services to and from Dublin Heuston will operate as normal, while Tralee services will operate every two hours, connecting to and from Cork services at Mallow. Services will operate from Tralee at 7.05am, 9.05am, 11.20am, 1.25pm, 3.30pm, 5.35pm and 7.40pm.
The 5.05pm Dublin Heuston to Tralee will be cancelled and passengers should board the Dublin Heuston to Cork service and change at Mallow for a connecting service to Tralee.
Iarnród Éireann has also advised that there will be a delay of 25 to 30 minutes from Mallow to Tralee.
Meanwhile, bus transfers for later services between Cork and Mallow that have been in place since September 9 will continue for the coming weeks.
The 9pm Dublin Heuston to Cork service will continue to operate as a train as far as Mallow and then by bus to Cork, while the 10pm and 11pm Cork to Mallow services and 10.30pm and 11.10pm Mallow to Cork services are operating as bus transfers.
