GoPlugable to host event on electric vehicles and renewable energy in the home at the Marina Market

Maebh Reynolds and Andrine Mendez, founders of GoPlugable and Electric Circle Initiative, ahead of the event at Marina Market next Thursday, from 5 to 7.30pm.

The Electric Circle is a one-of-a-kind free community-centered event for local people and businesses who want to learn more about electric vehicles or renewable energy in the home.

After successful events in Dublin, Drogheda, and Belfast, The Electric Circle, hosted by GoPlugable, is coming to Cork on Thursday next, September 26, at the Marina Market, from 5 to 7.30pm.

It is essentially a series of brief ‘lightning’ talks from experts within the renewable energy and electric vehicle industry.

It is a completely free non-profit event for homeowners who are interested in sustainability whether they already own an EV or not.

You can see more info on: here https://theelectriccircle.com/#about as well as clips of one of their previous events hosted in Drogheda, Dublin, and Belfast.

A spokesperson said: “It's a unique opportunity for homeowners to get the information they need, ask questions, learn and connect with other local people with experience and get answers from the experts.

“We have a really great lineup of partners and speakers supporting the event including SSE Airtricity, Myenergi, DCEV, and the Lord Mayor.

“We also have a range of electric vehicles available on the day for free test drives of some of the newest EV models to hit the market and more affordable models.”
