ESB Networks crews are working to repair a fault in Carrigaline following an incident this morning. 

Crews were deployed to the town after damage was caused to an electricity pole on Carrigaline's Main Street after a truck made contact with the pole. 

A spokesperson for the organisation said that repairs are underway. 

"ESB Networks can confirm damage was caused to an electricity pole on Main Street Carrigaline, on the morning of Thursday, July 25 as a result of a truck making contact with a pole.

"ESB Networks crews were immediately deployed to isolate the fault and make the area safe. Repairs are currently being undertaken in the area.

"We apologise to those impacted for the disruption caused," the spokesperson said.
