Seven additional train services will run for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final on July 21.
Cork will play Clare in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final on Sunday, July 21st at Croke Park after Cork put a stop to Limerick’s drive for five in the semi-final last weekend.
Sinn Féin TD for Cork North Central Thomas Gould welcomed that seven additional train services will be available to book from today for the All-Ireland final.

“I’ve been in touch with Irish Rail this week requesting that they put on additional services. This is good news today for many people who don’t want, or can’t, drive to the match,” Mr Gould said.
I know these services will be in high demand and they’ll need to be matched with additional bus services.
Mr Gould commended Irish Rail who he said worked proactively to get these additional services over the line.
“Public transport must be available for matches like this,” he said.
“They [Irish Rail] have advised me that the trains will be available to book today and they are expecting that they will sell out very quickly. I’ve asked them to consider even more services if it is possible.
“The Rebel Roar will be heard loud and clear in Croke Park on Sunday week.”
