Yoga at Cork's Fitzgerald Park returns this weekend

Yoga in the Park Cork city - this event in aid of Cork Simon Community will run every Saturday (weather dependent) at 10am in Fitzgerald Park in front of the bandstand from July 6.

One of Cork’s favourite summer events returns this Saturday and will run weekly, weather permitting, until the end of August.

At 10am on Saturday, July 6, in front of the bandstand, this summer’s Yoga in the Park for Cork Simon Community begins, running until Saturday, August 31.

This popular weekly event supports Cork’s homeless population through donations made at these weekly classes, all of which go to Cork Simon.

The classes have already raised over €80,000 for Cork Simon Community over the last decade, and bring together up to 200 yoga enthusiasts in Fitzgerald Park, all united for a great cause each week.

The organisers, Himalaya Yoga Valley, describe the weekly event as a family-friendly way to give back while embracing wellness, perfect for all levels and you need no yoga experience to attend.
