Shania Twain announces summer Cork gig

Shania Twain will play Cork's Virgin Media Park this summer.

CANADIAN country singer/songwriter Shania Twain has become the latest act to be added to the summer gigs line-up at Cork’s Virgin Media Park.

The five-time Grammy award winning artist will play the venue on Tuesday, June 25, with support from special guest British singer Rag ‘N’ Bone Man.

She will join an impressive line-up of gigs at the venue that includes concerts by Sting, Cian Ducrot, Take That, Picture This, Crowded House, The Wolfe Tones and Becky Hill.

The best-selling female artist in country music history, Shania Twain has enjoyed global chart success with a string of singles including That Don’t Impress Me Much, Man I Feel Like A Woman and You’re Still The One.

The announcement of Shania Twain’s Cork gig comes on the back of the release of her sixth album Queen Of Me, her sixth original full-length album and her first since her number one selling 2017 release Now.

Tickets for the concert, priced at €79.90, will go on sale on Friday, March 1 at 9am from www.ticketmaster.ie.
