Three Cork restaurants have been crowned winners in the Irish cuisine categories of the Deliveroo Restaurant Awards 2024.

Oak Fire Pizza, Koto and Burritos & Blues are among the winners of the accolade which celebrates the best and most loved independent restaurants in Ireland and across the UK.

Oak Fire Pizza was named Best Pizza in Ireland, Burritos & Blues was named the Best Mexican in Ireland and Koto won the award for Best Thai in Ireland.

Following the announcement, Sarah Loane of Oak Fire Pizza, said: "It is incredible to have won the Deliveroo award for Best Pizza in Ireland.

A heartfelt thank you to those who voted for us - your support means everything.

"We hope to continue to serve award-winning pizza to the communities of Cork for a long time to come."

This year saw a total of 60 awards up for grabs, including the highly coveted Independent Restaurant of the Year won by Dublin-based Yeeros, and a number of ‘above and beyond categories’, including Beating Heart of the Community, Rider Love, Most Sustainable Restaurant and Customer Innovation.

Over 66,000 votes were cast by customers over two weeks by fans keen to show support for their favourite local restaurants.
